What is the best way to request an inspection?

What is the normal response time after submitting the Contact e-mail?
I will call you within 24 – 48 hours after receipt of the Contact e-mail. I will use this time to research your RV ( Year/Make/Model ) to understand the layout and systems on this unit.

How many hours are normally required to conduct a Premier RV Inspection?
8 – 10 hours for Travel Trailers and Fifth Wheels.
10 – 12 hours for Class B, Class C and Class A units.
Why do RV Inspections require more time than most Home Inspections?
We need to operate the refrigerator, water heater and furnace on All.
Energy source options ( Propane and 120V ).
We must test every Air Conditioner for cooling efficiency ( one or two or three ).
We must operate every Slide-out and Awning on the unit.
We must Open every Window including the Primary EXIT window(s).
We must examine the Tires and Suspension components.
We must conduct a Hot-Skin Test on the exterior metal areas looking for any spot where you could be shocked by a bad 120V ground connection. Areas like: Door handles, Frame, Door/Step grab handles, Metal steps, Metal window sills, Front hitch components and Rear bumper. This is considered a Life Safety issue.
We must conduct a Propane Leak Test. This is a Life Safety item.
We must operate the TV(s) and Stereo equipment.
We must test all of the Exterior Marker and Clearance lights on the unit.
We must operate the Power Tongue Jack and All Leveling or Stabilizer components.
How is the pricing for each inspection determined?
Starts with my research on Year/Make/Model.
Includes info client provides on our phone call.
The physical location driving distance from my home. I include 50 Miles in the price getting to the inspection location. Additional Miles over 50 will be $1.50 per mile driving to the inspection location. No added charges for my return trip home.
Will the RV have Full Hookups like Shore Power 50 Amp or 30 Amp, Water and Sewer. If No, then certain items will not be inspected and these will be noted on my report?
How is the Inspection Fee delivered to client?
I will e-mail you the contract ( What I am doing and the Fee ).

What is the timeframe for Payment and Firm Scheduling of the Inspection?
Full Payment amount must be received 24-hours before Inspection is scheduled to begin. No partial payments will hold the scheduled inspection date/time. I will call my client the day before starting to inquire about the payment and required RV hookup environment.
Can an inspection be rescheduled with No Penalty?
Yes, up to 24-hours before it is scheduled to start. If the inspection is cancelled or rescheduled on the scheduled day/time while in-route or after I arrive, I will refund a total of $150.00.
Are you Insured? Does this insurance cover any damage I cause to the RV during my inspection? Does this insurance cover any injuries to other people should they trip over me or my tools during the inspection?
Yes, Yes and Yes. I carry the required $1,000,000 of Liability Coverage for Damage and Injuries as part of being a Certified RV Inspector.
Who receives the Inspection Report?
Only the client that paid for this inspection will receive the report and my end of day verbal summary. The client is free to send this report to anyone they choose.
